Based in the Dutch “Silicone Valley”, the Eindhoven region with it’s high density of tech companies spinoffs of Philips since the 60’es.  SHIPCOMF+ was born to identify and solve acoustic issues onboard ships. Ruben and Niels founded the company in 2019 to develop Acoustic solutions onboard ships.

Sound Solution by Making Sound Insightful – That’s why!

Bringing this Maritime knowledge together with Acoustic Knowledge has led to certified SHIPCOMF+ Acoustic panels and also the partnership with the Dutch tech company called Sorama. This company has developed a camera that ‘sees’ sound. They can measure sound and make it visible on a screen.

This is a new technology and its now being used for the railway industry, automotive and product development. The technology has successfully been used on onboard yachts to detect sound sources, vibration paths etc.
